YMCA - Flyde Coast

The Rent Bond Guarantee Scheme is designed to help people get onto the rental accommodation ladder in the Fylde borough area.

The Bond Guarantee is a certificate which replaces the cash bond normally required by a private landlord before he/she will grant you a tenancy.

It is designed to help people who are unable to raise money for a bond.

Who is eligible for the scheme?

To be eligible for the scheme, applicants need to be aged 16 or above and demonstrate a local connection to Fylde borough.

Therefore;

• they must have lived within the area for 6 out of the last 12 months or 3 out of the last 5 years;
• have a first generation relative who lives within the Fylde borough area e.g. Mother or Father;
• or they are permanently employed within the Fylde borough area.

How to apply

Application is by the way of interview at our Call-in sessions at The YMCA Paterson Centre or by appointment at other times. Call-in sessions are Monday to Friday 9:30am until 12 noon. For an appointment outside of these times please contact us on: 01253 720270.
