The YMCA Paterson Centre

The YMCA Paterson Centre opened in 2010 and is the central point of contact for the Rent Bond Guarantee Service and other housing services the YMCA provide in the Fylde Borough.

The former Old School Building has been renovated and refurnsihed and now offers a range of provision and facilities including;

  • Community Youth Facility
  • Meeting Rooms
  • Face To Face YMCA Offices
  • Fylde Counselling Service Offices
  • WyseMoney Offices
  • Rent Bond Gurantee service for Fylde Borough

The provision and community services offered at The Paterson centre benefit existing residents in the area and support ‘The Shaping the Place Project’ initiative being overseen by the Fylde Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) which aims to promote regeneration within the central ward of St Annes.

The YMCA Paterson Centre is also home to Wysemoney, part of Blackpool Wyre and Fylde Credit Union Service.  The service which started last year encourages people to save, educates and encourages a better understanding of financial products among the young and wider community and allows local people access to affordable loans, reducing dependency on door-step lenders and loan sharks.
