Fylde Coast YMCA. Serving the community since 1922

Welcome to
Fylde Coast YMCA

Through partnership between the YMCA and Wyre Borough Council, we are able to provide the local community with a wide range of facilities and activities. We are both committed to motivating people of all ages to be more active and the promotion of healthy living in body, mind and spirit.

Participation in YMCA sport, health and fitness promotes a sense of well being, self confidence and belonging. It is hoped that activities provided within YMCA centres can make a real difference to communities, helping people meet and come together through a shared passion for sport and physical activities.

The YMCA activities outlined on this website reflect its commitment to providing services and opportunities for all people in the community. Within this the YMCA focus is on young people, in the belief that if you develop young people you build strong future communities. To this end, within the Wyre and Fylde Boroughs the YMCA also provides housing services, childcare and training opportunities.

The YMCA’s purpose is to serve the community by providing opportunities for personal and social development. I hope you will enjoy the opportunities being provided in your local YMCA.
